Easy Oven Baked French Fries

  • 4 Large, cleaned baking potatoes, cut into 1/2″ wide sticks
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • Salt about 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper - sprinkle

Directions:

Heat oven to 450 degrees.  Rinse potato sticks in colander with cold water.  Put on paper towels and pat potatoe sticks dry.

Place potatoes in a large bowl and toss with vegetable oil, salt and pepper.

Spread the potatoes on a greased cookie sheet, in single layers (you’ll probably need 2 large cookie sheets).

Bake for 20 minutes and then carefully flip the potatoes over.  Continue baking another 20 minutes until done.

Optional Additions:

  • Used seasoned salt instead of regular salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Parsley flakes
  • Top with Parmesan Cheese last 5-10 minutes
  • Mix in minced garlic the last 5-10 minutes (don’t do add to soon or it will burn)
  • Add a sprinkle of Cayenne powder, chili powder, or paprika before cooking
